This is how it goes
Do you have an idea that can develop the region? Contact us and we will make it happen together!
Four steps to your project
A project is a process with four different steps. To begin with, there must be a development idea, something that can be refined and summarized into a concrete project, and a formal project application must be written. Then, if approved, the project must be implemented according to the terms and regulations that exist. Finally, the project must be concluded and a final report must be submitted.
Step 1
Getting started
Do you have project ideas and are thinking about how they can be realized?
Please read our strategy and contact us if you think your idea could become a leader project in Nedre Dalälven.
Step 2
Writing an application
The staff at the Leader office will provide you with tips and advice during the application process. More information can be found via the link.
Step 3
Implement
ALWAYS read the start decision and carefully follow the purpose and goals of the project. If you have any questions, contact the leader office.
Step 4
End
The Leader office should ALWAYS be contacted before submitting the final report and application for final payment.
Can your idea be
a leader project?
Use our checklist!
Does the project fall within the framework of our strategy?
Can the project clearly contribute to achieving the strategy's goals?
Equality
Are the project's working methods and distribution of tasks designed so that women and men have equal opportunities to influence the design of the project, participate in its implementation and benefit from the project's results?
Cooperation
Should the project be carried out in collaboration between at least two of the non-profit, private and public sectors?
Broad benefit
Will the project's expected results be of broad benefit, i.e. will they result in improvements/development for more than just those implementing the project?
Implementation capacity
Do you have an organized co-financing and plan for how the project could be implemented in practical terms?
Innovative thinking
Should the project be used to create development in various ways – not to support existing activities?
Non-discrimination
Have you thought about openness and non-discrimination? It is an absolute requirement that no one is prevented from influencing the design of the project, participating in its implementation or benefiting from the project's results due to gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation or age.
