About the project
Through the project, Formspråk Dalarna aims to broaden its activities by establishing The Clay Studio Bakfickan, a creative meeting place in Hedemora where companies, groups, and individuals can try pottery. In collaboration with local restaurants, cafés, and hotels around Stora Torget, various packages will be offered with pottery workshops, conferences, food, and accommodation.
Purpose The aim of the project is to broaden the range of activities and attractions in central Hedemora and contribute to a more vibrant city center. Through collaboration with existing businesses around Stora Torget, new opportunities are created to attract more visitors, reach new target groups, and strengthen the local economy.
The Clay Studio Bakfickan will become a creative meeting place for artists, entrepreneurs, and hobby potters, with opportunities for courses, workshops, and lectures led by professional potters and artists.
The initiative also gives Formspråk Dalarna the opportunity to develop and broaden its activities in an increasingly competitive industry. By combining graphic design with creative activities in pottery, conditions are created for sustainable and long-term entrepreneurship in rural areas.
