Documentary film about the Vendel countryside
About the project
The project has good conditions to contribute to new and preserved livelihood opportunities. The film is expected to contribute to an increased number of visitors and an increased attractiveness for residents and entrepreneurs. A previously strong local engagement in the form of opposition to a road construction has good opportunities in the project to be channeled into local development and future confidence in the countryside.
Purpose The aim of the project is to describe through a documentary film how a countryside has been affected in various respects by a new motorway, but also to highlight and draw attention to the unique values of the cultural countryside. The countryside's strong engagement in the opposition to the road construction can be channeled into something positive for the countryside in the work with the film. The hope is that the work with the film and especially its dissemination will lead to increased tourism, increased attractiveness for residents and entrepreneurship, and not least an increased self-esteem for Vendel's inhabitants.
The goal The project is a documentary film about the Vendel countryside as well as a pilot film/trailer.
The activities The project includes: Filming and interviews; Inventory, logging, and indexing of film material; Helicopter filming; Editing of film; Production of pilot film; Promotion and distribution of film; Administrative work.
