Adrenaline and romance

Purpose The aim of the project is to strengthen the tourism industry in the municipalities of Tierp and Älvkarleby. Through collaboration, thematization and marketing, increase the number of guest nights in the area and thereby contribute to new and preserved jobs. Through the work in the project, contribute to a more attractive countryside that strengthens the conditions for entrepreneurship and immigration and provides added value for those already living in the area. 

The goal The project includes a new network, new collaborations between entrepreneurs and an increased number of guest nights in the area. Developed themes for marketing, a common brand and a common graphic profile. A common image bank and developed physical locations.  

The activities in the project are:
– Step one. Establishment and expansion of networks. In addition to companies already involved in the project, more tourism entrepreneurs, associations and other companies will be informed and inspired to participate in the project.
– Step two. Work on thematization. Development of a common brand and graphic profile. Work on product development and increased environmental awareness among entrepreneurs. Creation of a common image bank. Collaboration on new services and mapping of additional new product and service opportunities. Building a common meeting place for companies based on thematic destination development.
– Step three. Concrete work to facilitate companies' marketing. Participation in trade fairs. Arrangement of experiences/events with news value that are marketed through press releases. Development of 2-3 physical locations.
