investment in building a viable association

About the project

The project is aimed at the target groups specifically designated by the Social Fund: the unemployed and those who are far from the labor market.

Purpose The aim of the project is to use the association as a platform and bring participants closer to the job market. The participants will be given the opportunity to develop their language and gain experience and knowledge in different work areas. Through the association's large network, it is possible to create a network of contacts, which can be important for future job opportunities.

The goal With the project, a number of participants have gained experience, knowledge, a network of contacts and a developed language, and thus have better opportunities to approach the labor market.

The project consists of hiring a project manager on a half-time basis for three years. The project manager will primarily supervise people with internships or entry-level jobs in trying out different assignments and tasks in the association. The participants will gradually take over the increased ongoing administration that an increased number of members entails. In addition, based on interest and previous experience, they can participate in work such as leading groups, parent training, ordering, homework, serving, premises and material care, janitorial duties and documentation.
