Gropen, bridle path and loose riding in Heby

Construction of a terrain track in Gropen. Construction of loose housing for horses in Heby. Creation of a riding trail in between.

About the project

The project contributes to the development of the business, of the tourism industry in the area and youth activities in the municipality. The project strengthens the municipality's profile and paves the way for further development of concepts involving the horse industry.

 

 

Purpose The project aims to promote the tourism industry in our area, create conditions for meaningful leisure for citizens, and contribute to increased entrepreneurship related to the horse industry.

The goal The project includes a constructed riding trail, 4 completed buildings connected to the riding trail, the barrack adapted for winter use, the terrain track at Gropen to be cleared and equipped with new obstacles, and the pastures to be adapted to the loose housing system.

The activities The project includes: project management, land preparation for riding arenas, pastures, riding and terrain tracks, as well as parking areas, signage for the riding trail, upgrading of the terrain track, marketing, preparation of weather protection, winter adaptation of the barrack, and adapting pastures to loose housing.
