With the project, they will capture all the positive forces that exist in the area and collectively in collaboration take a
comprehensive approach to the work regarding how Gysinge is presented and how it is experienced.

About the project

Through the project, ”We in Gysinge” want to have the opportunity to take a comprehensive approach to how Gysinge is presented and how it is experienced by visitors and residents. Through the project, they want to be able to develop a unified graphic profile, clear signage, connect the various businesses and attractions in and around Gysinge, and create a policy and platform for joint marketing. They also want to strengthen the collaborations that are currently established in Gysinge. Examples of collaborations that ”We in Gysinge” are currently engaged in are food markets with locally produced products (autumn and Christmas) and market trading on Saturdays. .

They want to strengthen collaborations over time and within
the framework of the project develop frameworks, policies, and guidelines for events so that it can be developed and preserved over time. In this way, they also believe that the residents and seasonal residents in and around Gysinge feel a stronger cohesion and, in the long run, engage voluntarily in the project that strengthens Gysinge as a locality.

Purpose The goal of the project is to make Gysinge an attractive destination for all.

The goal The project aims to make Gysinge more attractive as a destination by upgrading the community with signage featuring its own graphic profile to make it easier to navigate the destination. The goal is also to upgrade hiking trails with QR codes at various locations to provide tourists with information and historical tours.

The activities The project involves purchasing signs and creating clearer signage, developing a graphic profile, upgrading and clearing hiking trails, QR codes, and promotional products.

Gysingelyftet

”The long-term goal is for Gysinge to become an attractive destination year-round for both visitors and residents in
the surrounding area. We want the visitors who come to Gysinge to stay longer and experience more. This will over
time result in more guest nights, restaurant visits, and customers to Gysinge's businesses. Therefore, a long-term goal is also to attract more businesses to invest and establish themselves in Gysinge, as well as for existing businesses to hire more.”
